WHAT IS FINANCIAL ADVICE?
Working out how to achieve your financial goals is easy and you don't have to earn a high income to do it. Whether you're looking to get your affairs in order, buy a house, start a family or prepare for retirement, seeking quality advice from a qualified financial expert can help you achieve your goals sooner, and with more confidence.
Financial advice is about far more than just making money. It’s about creating new opportunities to help you achieve whatever you desire in life.
Our financial planners can help you work out what’s important to you. We'll help you develop a plan that aligns your financial decisions to your lifestyle goals.
We also know your priorities can change over time, as can economic conditions, legislation and investment markets. We can help re-focus your plan, and track your progress along the way whether you’re starting out, building wealth or planning for retirement.
Depending on your needs, there are three advice options you can choose from.
General advice and information - Getting the facts
This is advice without taking into account your personal situation or needs including factual information in response to any questions you might have about your finances. Our advisers will help you translate any financial jargon and explain the purpose and rules around different financial products. For example, you may want to know how salary sacrifice works.
Focused advice – Advice on a specific matter
This is personal advice on one particular topic. The advice focuses specifically on your situation and needs in relation to that one specific matter and does not take into consideration your other financial affairs. For example, you may only need help implementing a transition to retirement strategy.
Comprehensive advice – A plan for all your financial matters
This is personal advice that looks at all areas of your finances on an ongoing basis. Our advisers will develop a financial plan that’s tailored to your situation, needs and financial goals. We can also regularly review your plan to take into account any changing circumstances to ensure you stay on track to achieving your goals.
